Splitting Service
For almost all items it is possible to request a reduction of thickness down to 0,8mm (2 oz.), this service is free and included in the price, just request it in the order notes. It is not possible to request the splitting service for leftovers, scraps and strips of leather. Split items are considered customized and are therefore not eligible for returns.

Fiebing's Acrylic Dye is a water based leather dye, quick drying, flexible, water resistant, non-flammable, non-toxic and deeply penetrating. Since it is water-based, it can be diluted with water. Fiebing's Acrylic Dye is a long lasting, strongly covering leather paint suitable also for re-dyeing already dyed leathers or to dye dark leathers a lighter shade. It can be used for painting patterns on smooth leather. This leather dye creates a continuous coating on the leather, is fully flexible and follows all the movements of the leather. Fiebing's acrylic leather dyes are very easily mixable to create new shades. Makes for a great edge finish too.
Seal your leather with Resolene
Fiebing's Acrylic Resolene is a water-repellent special finish for your leather works. Once dry it produces a mild glow and works as a sealing for Fiebing's Leather Dyes. It is essential that you apply it as a protection over the new dye.
Instructions for using Fiebing's Acrylic Leather Dye
As for any other leather dye, the leather has to be pre-treated before using Acrylic Dye. Unless you use a "crust leather", i.e. unfinished (you can find them here) before dyeing, it is in fact necessary to remove oils, grease and finishes from the surface of the leather.
