Strip Cutting Service

Strip cutting service for hides and leather that can be purchased on our website, to be added to the cart together with the product to be cut. If you have more than one item in your cart, please indicate in the order comments (during checkout) which leather you would like cut.

You can choose between available cutting widths that you find in the drop-down menu, the length of the strips will depend on the chosen article. No refunds or returns are possible for custom orders, so please make sure you have given us the correct instructions and selected the right size and leather.

The cost is per skin, therefore for more skins to be cut it is necessary to add the corresponding quantity to the cart. Rate is for the cut only and does not include the leather.

How the strips are cut according to the leather type

• The butts are cut vertically, in order to exploit the entire surface, so you will get longer strips and shorter strips
• The shoulders are cut horizontally
• Calfskin and bovine skins in general are cut in order to obtain the longest possible strips
• The bellies are cut horizontally so that the longest possible strips are obtained
• The front shoulders are cut horizontally in order to obtain the longest possible strips

In the case that the cut must be made differently from what is indicated here, please communicate it in the order notes.
